Easy movement, coordinated breathing and nurturing imagery will get your blood flowing and center your mind.
No experience necessary. Qigong can be done sitting or standing and adjusted for those with injuries.

Qigong – St. Helena
Thursdays 9/3 - 10/8

Learn the “why” along with the “how” of Insight Qigong. This set includes eight movements that flow together, increasing your physical strength and stamina without being too hard on your joints and muscles.
Rooted in Chinese medicine each movement can be used individually to increase healing for a particular illness or together to purge, tonify and regulate your system as a whole.
We take time to explore each movement and handouts are provided to aid in your personal practice. Qigong uses posture, coordinated breathing and a focused intention, with natural imagery, to help move and cultivate Qi.
All levels are welcome. These movements can be adjusted for those who need to sit or who have injuries.
Qigong – Next Level – Finley Center

Add to your practice by learning 5 element theory and basic application, meridian channels, and build your energetic sensitivity. We will be practicing the Zang Fu Gong Qigong routine, working with your yin/yang organ pairs.

Golden Ball Qigong – Finley Center

Golden Ball Qigong is a Chinese health practice that incorporates all eight actions of energy movement within the body, balancing your whole system. You will learn all eight actions along with the basic principles of qigong. Truly a moving meditation, it’s simple, repetitive movements, and powerful imagery, can be practiced almost anywhere. This routine can be done sitting or standing.

Learn the “why” along with the “how” of the Insight Qigong set.
This set purges, tonifies, and regulates all the major systems of the body and improves balance and physical stamina. It can be done sitting or standing.
Emphasis will be put on learning the three main principles of qigong: posture, coordinated breath and focused intention.
We will also practice short meditations and use various qigong warm ups. All levels are welcome.
Stillness Training – Finley Center

In our busy world full of distraction, it’s hard to allow ourselves to be still. In this class we will learn the Chinese practice of I-Ch’uan or “Mind Boxing.” The static standing postures involve your whole being and facilitate the natural integration and balance of body, mind, and spirit. Relax your logical mind and rekindle your spirit through simply being.
Class will include qigong basics, energy sensitivity exercises and grounding meditation.

CreativiQi – Finley Center

Using qigong, meditation and creative writing or drawing, participants will build trust in their own intuitive process to create. Rekindle or fortify your ability to listen to yourself and what that self wants to express. Paper, pens, and pencils are provided but feel free to bring your own. All levels welcome.
