Start your day with intentional energy cultivation.
Practice the Insight Qigong set and other curated qigong movements, various warm-ups and short meditations, that will set the tone for a centered and productive day. All levels are welcome.
Insight Qigong – Finley Center
Wednesdays 7/29 -9/2

Learn the “why” along with the “how” of the Insight Qigong set.
This set purges, tonifies, and regulates all the major systems of the body and improves balance and physical stamina. It can be done sitting or standing.
Emphasis will be put on learning the three main principles of qigong: posture, coordinated breath and focused intention.
We will also practice short meditations and use various qigong warm ups. All levels are welcome.
Qigong – St. Helena

Learn the “why” along with the “how” of Insight Qigong. This set includes eight movements that flow together, increasing your physical strength and stamina without being too hard on your joints and muscles.
Rooted in Chinese medicine each movement can be used individually to increase healing for a particular illness or together to purge, tonify and regulate your system as a whole.
We take time to explore each movement and handouts are provided to aid in your personal practice. Qigong uses posture, coordinated breathing and a focused intention, with natural imagery, to help move and cultivate Qi.
All levels are welcome. These movements can be adjusted for those who need to sit or who have injuries.
